February 16, 1996 – Friday – 11:35 p.m.

So much to say, but hard to write.

There was a “great legs” contest here at school.  A member of the student government was allowed to nominate someone from each gender, they took a pictures of your legs and then put it on a jar and had all the jars on display in the cafeteria.  The way you voted for your favorite pair of legs was to put money in the jar.

Well, Lisa nominated me and it ended today.  I won for the guys.  So, I guess when I’m old I can tell my grandchildren that when I was a sophomore in college I was voted for having the greatest legs on campus.

I’m on duty again.  And everyone is gone.  I’m here looking after an empty dorm with literally no one to talk to; no one to share my amazing legs with.

Oh, the irony.

Bearclaw opens next weekend.

When will true love come?

October 6, 1994 – Thursday – 5:45 p.m.

Opening night last night was great.  Today Charlie and I went into Newland; he took me out to eat.  He says he will watch Mattress tomorrow night with Cheryl, Ryan, Christi, and Amy.

I saw Jeni today, but for only 10 minutes.  Our Tuesday and Thursday schedules are very different, we don’t get to see each other that much.  I will definitely see her tonight.

Fall break begins on the 19th of October.  That’s less than two weeks from now.  Jeni and I have been together for two weeks.

Charlie and I have talked a lot these past two days.  My brother called me today.  I will see him Sunday.  I’m not sure what will happen this weekend, but I’m sure it will prove to be interesting.

It’s already October.  Time will not slow down for me.

Last night I went into the Presbyterian church on campus and prayed in the spirit and worshipped God.  I will have to do that more often.

Someone asked me today if I was still seeing that girl of mine.  I said, “yes.”

He said, “she looks pretty good.”

“I know it man, she’s got some legs on her,”  I said.

“Definitely dude.” he said.

It was nice to hear that.

Jeni does so many little things.  Her and Rachel made brownies and gave them to Mr. Marty, our director for Mattress, and also gave him some scripture verses.

She is so wonderful.  Again Lord, I thank you for her.

September 14, 1994 – Wednesday – 10:30 p.m.

What a wonderful evening!  That girl that I mentioned above, she goes to Heaton Christian Church.  Hopefully I’ll get to know her.

But rehearsal was great tonight.  I didn’t have to stay that long, so I went to FCA for about 30 minutes, but then I went back to the theater to lay out the dance floor.

In Mattress there are a lot of girls who only play Spanish Dancers.  One girl has been looking at me a lot for the past two nights.  Her eyes are just…it’s like they are drawing you in.  She had me.

Tonight as we laid the dance floor, the two of us began talking and then we began talking about Christian music, and then we started singing Christian music together.  It was great!  She has the most beautiful and graceful legs I have ever seen.  A pretty smile, everything.  She acts a little air-headed sometimes, but that actually makes her really fun to be around.  We talked for about 30 minutes and then it was time to go.  We walked up together with another girl, then we split up to go to our different dorms.  She said “bye.”

All of this and I don’t even know her name.
